Liked: Tolles Hostel, nahe dem Plaza de Armas. Das Fruehstueck ist leider nicht inklusive und muss extra gezahlt werden, das Buffet ist aber toll.

Disliked: Leider ging mit unserer Buchung ueber Hostelbookers etwas schief und wir konnten nicht die komplette Zeit im Hostel bleiben - Das Personal half uns aber ein anderes Hostel fuer die letzte Nacht zu finden!

Disliked: The property was up a very steep hill then when you manage that there is a steep set of stairs.

Liked: Really nice and clean. Very good for a nights sleep.not noisy. Nice communal area upstairs and good breakfast. Staff very friendly with good English. Very helpful. Only 5 mins from plaza del armas.Would recommend if want a quiet place to stay

Liked: We could storage our bags for several days which was very helpful!

Disliked: Cold rooms and not heather! A bit misunderstanding with the price of our laundry and after that the girl at the reception wasn't to happy to help us, eve though it was her mistake! Not big deal! The place was good!

Liked: located near main plaza, very good breakfast (incl. eggs, cereals, joghurt, ...) for 8 soles; good rooms in the extension (50m away from main building), computer for internet (not only wifi)

Disliked: water from tap sometimes looks like milk (probably not a specific hostel's problem)

Liked: Hot water, size of rooms, tv room and Internet facilities.

Liked: The room was huge and very clean. The beds were comfy and everything was very well maintained. We even got a free upgrade to ensuite room cause all not-ensuite rooms were full. There was free Tea all day and staff was very helpful when telling us about teh city and giving us a free map. They helped us book bus tickets as well. The greatest thign was that they let us leave our luggage on the day after Machu Picchu when we had to wait till late night for our bus and use the hostels facilities for free. That was a huge help for us!!

Disliked: One of the staff members approached us a couple hours after checking-in that we had to pay extra for the upgrade of the room, about what we haven't been informed before. Fortunately when we paid the next day, they didn't mention it anymore and we just paid the room we had booked through hostelbookers.

Liked: The staff was amazingly helpful in giving advice on obtaining tickets to Machu Picchu as well as calling taxis at early hours. The common area upstairs was nice. The computer/internet always worked. Free coca mate and tea was great as well.

Disliked: At night it was cold, we needed to dress in layers and wear a hat to bed. Our room was also near the street and car noise and dogs barking made it a bit difficult to sleep.

Liked: it has amazing views over cuzco, the staff were helpful, breakfast buffet was good value, met some amazing people who i intend to meet up with back home, apart from a bit of an uphill struggle, it is very close to the main plaza and there is free tea which is perfect on a cold night.

Disliked: breakfast woman is quite a moody thing, other then that, i can't think of any

Liked: Had one night in single room in their property over the road, was fantastic!

Disliked: The single room spoiled me, didn´t want to go back to the 6 bed dorm, seemed so cramped after, but perfectly good for the money!

Liked: The staff are very happy to help with questions and quieries. The hostel is relaxed and fairly quiet. It´s a friendly place and easy to chat to other travelers in the lounge areas.

Liked: Very nice communal area outside dorms which made meaning other travellers very easy. Very clean. Coca tea freely available all day

Liked: Freindly staff. Good Breakfast (you need to pay for it though) Good wifi.

Disliked: Due to the design of the hostel, it can be very noisy at times. You can hear the early rises getting up for those 4am buses!!!!

Liked: The location was nice, just a few minute stroll to Plaza de Armes. It is up a bit of a hill from the plaza, but not too bad. The hostel was very secure with a camera and buzzer at the front door. There are also cabinets in the main area that can be secured with a pad lock. The TV and computer room upstairs was nice with good views of the city. The wifi worked okay, but not in all the rooms.

Disliked: The water was not working properly during our stay there. They did offer a slight discount, but it was still inconvenient. There is a kitchen in the TV/computer room but the hostel is strict about not letting guests use it......at all.

Liked: Marietta & Roxanna and all the staff are the friendliest & most helpful people of any hostel we have stayed at and that is out of hundreds.20 out of 10 just brilliant,superb breakfasts as well.
