Liked: Pirwa was great. very very clean. good common areas including TV room, free internet and kitchen. plus its in the best area of cusco near the good restaurants and shops. go to pirwa if you want to meet people but not nexessarily party till 3am as its great for a few beers in the courtyard but won't rage like some other hostels.

Liked: The staff were friendly although they spoke zero English. The place had mainly couples who were coming from or going somewhere which meant that it was just a place to rest your head really. If this is what you are after then that´s the place for you.

Liked: Communial courtyard and TV room are a great place to relax and meet other travellers. Staff were very friendly and even remembered my name.

Liked: Not a party place, but superb location (beautiful San Blas above the Plaza de Armas). Hot water (at least in the mornings)! Very pleasant place, we´d stay there again.

Liked: The staff was great. An oversight on our part was the hostel doesn't have heat in the rooms and the rooms tend to be cold.

Liked: We loved tihs hostel, it had a great feel to it, lovely outdoor terrace and the staff were very happy and helpful. Its on a lovely street with great restaurants and near a few bars, maybe just over 5 mins from the main square. Highly recommended.
