Overview
Welcome to our friendly, family hostal “ Tambo Hostal”. We are located in the Colca Valley (Yanque town) which is the oldest town in Colca Canyon. Traditionally there are many arqueológical rests here giving the hostel a more characteristzed and cultured expression to its visitors.
Could you enjoy the countryside and nature at its quietest and amazing views?
The rooms have a private bathroom with 24 hr hot water. We have single, double and triple rooms to suit every need. All ensuite rooms have a little hall, night table with its lamp and a wardrobe. All rooms have rugs and you can have soap and towels plus hot-water bottle on request. Guests can relax and enjoy the surroundings in our big garden accompanied with a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains.
You can visit our hot spring ‘TAMBO’ which is only a 15 minutes walk from the hostel. It was built especially to be enjoyed by those who wish to engage in the relaxation and quietness of this natural spring located next to the river. An appropriate combination of traditional meets modern, between the rustic ambient and the comfort harmony of the local culture and its surrounding nature. Beside the rooms we have a Restaurant that serve wonderful modern Andin cuisine with the best local ingredients (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
We are located in quiet place across from the condor viewpoint, only 1 ½ hours driving to the Condor Cross where you can see the local wildlife majestically fly around the deepest canyon in the world, COLCA CANYON.
We also have a Travel Agency that provides free travel information for tours and trekking. Communication is made simple as the staff is confident in the English Language.
