Liked: Spacious and very nice room, delicious banana pancake breakfast, this hostel has great facilities TV room, pool table, good kitchen, wi.fi very fast, they organized our Colca canyon tour was excellent, highly recommended

Liked: A great place, comfortable and clean. I liked the location in a calm and sweet area a few blocks from the Plaza de Armas. Banana panckakes are really good. The staff is really friendly and helpfull.

Liked: very friendly staff great location ,They had wonderful rooms and I enjoyed the breakfast! The hostel is about 4 blocks from the plaza and was very safe to walk around.

Liked: Friendly staff, nice terrace (even though that seems to be a common feature of hostels in this city), nice breakfast.

Disliked: Problems with hot water, toilets and bathrooms should be cleaner.

Liked: Large spacious kitchen and common areas clean, large 8 bed dorm, with personal locker which was very important for me and super hot shower, this place has a large collection of DVDs and a great terrace with pol table, I definitely recommend this place

Liked: Quite place, but near to centre. Clean big room. The 2 Day Tour to Colca Canyon was great with excellent guide (160 Soles), but better to book the tour direct from the agency. The tour was actually organised by peru schweiz, not by colca aventuras.

Disliked: Poor light in the room. Tour costs in the hostel about 40 Soles more, then direct from agency (peru schweiz). Booked an ensuite room, but got one with shared bathroom.

Liked: A really cool hostel for this price. The pancake breakfast is awesome, I like the staff and the location is also fine. I would def come again.

Disliked: There are no safety lockers for your valuables.

Liked: The staff were really friendly and helpful, the breakfast of pancakes is really good and its only a 10 minute walk from the main plaza.

Disliked: The shower wasn´t always hot.

Liked: It is the best place that I have stayed in Peru! The hostel is very clean, the Internet signal is strong, the showers were always hot, and the breakfast was amazing. Each morning they custom make you pancakes folded like crepes with sliced bananas inside and topped with a peanut butter cream sauce. The location is ideal; it is right next to everything and in front of the property, there is a romantic little circle to sit on a bench. The people running the place really care, and I would highly recommend this hostel!

Liked: Interesting layout - 4 stories with pleasant rooftop balcony area for relaxing - very nice and accomodating people.

Disliked: Hard to find the front door initially - needs better sign.

Liked: the staff were really friendly and helpful There were 4 computers to use. Banana pancakes for breakfast, bonus! Liked the location.

Disliked: The bathroom was dirty and I had to ask for a clean pillow case as mine was really dirty. Overall the place could use with a good clean.

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hostel is centred around a nice bright communal area and also has a roof terrace for relaxing. The banana pancakes for breakfast make a lovely change from the usual bread and jam!

Disliked: Unfortunately there was not enough communication between staff members and our reservation was forgotten about when we returned from our tour. They still managed to accommodate us, but not in the room we asked for.

Liked: The bed in the 8 bed dorm were big and very comfy. The pancake breakfast was pretty good and the hostel was in a good location for the Plaza de Armas. Friendly staff. We also booked our Colca canyon tour through them which we really enjoyed, and were able to store our luggage (though room has no lock and sometimes someone sleeps in it)

Disliked: We stayed at this property for 2 nights before doing our 3 day canyon tour and returned for one final night before going to Cusco. We asked before leaving on the tour for them to book us a bus to Cusco for 4 days later and were told they had done it, but when we returned from our tour we were told that the bus hadn't been booked (only reserved, apparently this doesn't mean the same thing) and so we ended up having to pay more for our bus because it was booked so near to leaving (and on a public holiday). The staff weren't prepared to take any responsibility for it and told us they hadn't booked it because they were too busy. Not great for a "Travel Service". It was a shame because apart from this we had found the staff to be very helpful but this was not acceptable. It would have been easier if we'd done it ourselves. Also didn't find the kitchen particularly clean (though this may have been because of guests), and the "hot water" is lukewarm.
