The hostel is situated right in the centre of Arequipa, only 5 minutes away from the bus terminal and 20 minutes from the airport.
When arriving by bus, make sure you take a taxi from within the gates of the bus terminal. These taxis are safe! It should be no more than 5 soles.
When arriving by plane, there are blue taxis just outside the arrival hall in a designated area. These taxis are safe. It is 15 soles and a 20 minute ride.

Please be aware that the Google map is wrong. La Casa de los Pinguinos is at Avenida Parra 110. But Google have mistakenly changed the name of the street in Alameda Mario Varga Llosa. Nothing I can do to get it changed back, we are really at Avenida Parra, 5 blocks from the Plaza de Armas.
