La Casa de Tintin is located in a peaceful area, close to downtown but far from noise, on the very side of a river surrounded by gardens.

Welcome to the city of the eternal spring and one of the most beautiful of Peru. Built in white volcanic stone, Arequipa is a colonial architectural treasure of unique charm and character, classified as Cultural Heritage of Mankind by the UNESCO. A full day is necessary to visit the colonial center and enjoy the calmness of its flourished patios under the ever-blue sky. Arequipa is also the gateway to the amazing Colca canyon, the deepest in the world and one of the most impressive natural marvels of South America.

Our carpeted rooms are beautiful and confortable, and provide the principal facilities you need (private bathroom, cable-TV, heater in winter, hair-dryer, telephone, etc.) Many also have a balcony with a stunning view on the green countryside and majestic volcanoes. The B&B has a laundry, internet, restaurant, car park, garden, tourist information and tour booking service. It is run by its owners, a Belgo-Peruvian couple, who will take care of you to ensure that you enjoy a safe and pleasant stay in Peru. English, French, Italian and Spanish are spoken.

Rates for the room include our full american breakfast, with eggs, ham, cheese, home-made jam, fresh bread with butter, fruits, corn flakes, fresh juice, expresso coffee, tea and milk.
