If you are looking a place to take a gap in your trip, relax and maybe take some spanish classes, Casa de Avila in Arequipa, is that place. Ample spaces, an enchanted garden, and comfortable rooms. All in a budget price.

Ample spaces, and a central courtyard with rooms around it, are the main attraction in this well rated place located at only four blocks from Main Square and close to all attractions in town. The beautiful central courtyard with umbrellas and sun chairs is the preferred area of our guests. Enjoy lying under the always sunny weather of the city.

Our business is highly rated in security, cleanliness and staff. Couples, women travellers, mid to advance age travelers are our regular clients. They appreciate the place, but most of all our always smiley and devoted personnel.

All rooms have comfortable beds, basic furniture and private bathroom with hot water and TV (Cable), free Internet and WI-FI all over the place. Free coffee all day. Cafetería service. Continental breakfast included in all rates, fried or scrambled eggs, giant fruit salad, and other options available at less than 2 dollars. During the evenings we have local bear and Peruvian Pisco at your requirement.

Single, Double and Twin Rooms available. Three multiple rooms (3-4 beds) if you are traveling with friends. This season we offer 1 girl’s shared bedroom. We have 35 rooms in total. Linen included and towels changed daily. No smoking rooms, but you can do it in the Garden or opened areas.

We provide a charming and informal hostel environment in a big hotel infrastructure. It is never noisy or crowded as a cheap hostel, but economic enough to help your budget.

‘Casa de Avila’ also runs the most famous Spanish School in town. School is open for non guests too. Our specialty, short courses in 1 to 1 method.

And of course, do not forget to look for Paco, the Hotel’s pet, a lovely 40 year old tortoise with character, living in our courtyard. Enjoy feeding him with delicious local bananas or any other fruit.
