Panama by Luis has just moved to a new place in one of the most exclusive neighborhood called Coco del Mar. Out of the noisy city centre but still reachable in 10 minutes walking distance to the all major sights.

Panama by Luis is located in one of the most exclusive and safest areas in Panama City called Coco del Mar. We are the closest hostel to the international airport via the highway, and are well connected by transport links within the city.

The hostel is within walking distance of many restaurants, bars, a 24 hour supermarket, laundry services, ATMs, banks, pharmacies, a post office, casinos and more. There is also one of the largest National Parks within 10 minutes walking distance that has many walking/running paths, monuments and works of art, hosts classes and events on a regular basis and holds the National Library of Panama.

Directions / How to find Panama by Luis:

BY TAXI:
Tell the driver: “Viniendo del Centro de Convenciones Atlapa, se encuentra el Restaurante Parrillada Jimmy. Pasando dicho restaurante esta un semaforo, se sigue recto y se gira en la primera calle a mano derecha. Una vez en esa calle, es la casa de dos pisos chocolate del lado izquierdo”. Doing that, he will take you to our place.

Please insist that driver brings you to our place as they tend bringing people to places where they get commission! So don't believe them when they tell you that we are located in a bad neighborhood-we are actually located in the safest neighborhood in the whole of Central america!!!

From the International Airport it will cost $20-25, maybe less if you can share, Domestic Airport $3-$4, and from the bus station it will be around $3, depending on how many people.

BY BUS:
From the International airport:
We recommended take it only in the daytime. It can take 1-2 hours depending on traffic and costs 0.25 cents. You have to exit the airport and walk up to main road. Then, take any bus which must say Tocumen-Transistmica on the front. Tell the bus driver you want to get off at La Estatua Roosvelt. From there, take another bus that must says Panama Viejo or Avenida Balboa and tell the driver that you want to get off at Delta Petro Station. Once you are there, cross the street and take the first street down on your left hand side. About 40 meters further down you will see a two floor brown house on your left. Hit the buzzer and welcome to Panama by Luis.

From the Bus terminal/Domestic airport (Albrook):
Take a bus which must says Panama Viejo or Avenida Balboa which costs also 0.25 cents. Tell the driver that you want to get off at Parrillada Jimmy Restaurant at Coco del Mar. From there, it’s the third street on your right hand side. Take that street down and about 40 meters you will see a two floor brown house on your left. Hit the buzzer and welcome to Panama by Luis. It costs 25 cents.
