Liked: Not the cheapest place in Bocas, love the deck over the water!! It needs to get a free breakfast and it would be sweet. DO NOT leave anything in the main fridge - they dont tell you that what goes in there apparently anyone can take...!

Liked: When we arrived they had messed up our booking and we had to go stay in another hotel. The manager was very polite and appologetic and helped us find a new place. We then stayed the next night in a private room which was ok but in the middle of the night our window was opened and handbag was stolen from our room. In hindsight it would appear that the window had been unlocked while we were out and then the thieves had returned later to come in and steal stuff.

Liked: Was a great hostel, with very nice staff, Juan, the guy who usually runs around the place is great. When you arrive, you can expect that they probably think they don´t have a room for you.., they have kind of a messy administration:p But everybody always gets a room, they just think they don´t have it but they always do. And the rooms are pretty, clean and a lot of them have fridges ! NIcee :) . And a perfect perfect location, it´s just around the corner of the main street, so you can get a bit of rest but it is still on walking distance from almost everything. And the hostel is at the ocean so somethimes you see the dolphins swimming next to your hostel, that is insane..Overal a great stay, enjoyed it every second.

Liked: I arrived around 10am and I had to wait to put my things in any room, I was left alone for 30min until Juan told me I could leave and come back later. I was lucky because there were empty beds because reservations mean nothing to him. This was chaotic next early morning because people showed up and there were no beds until Juan organized who was there and where. The place is very very nice, better than in the pictures. They usually have nice common dinners and cheaper tours to the islands. Rooms have everything fro, AC to a fridge. Close to everything and pretty quiet to sleep although I wasnt lucky and Josefina and the guests with reservations but no beds at 6,30am woke me up with yells and this went on until 9am. You can see corals, fish and starfish under the house so it is just amazing. I will come back.

Liked: Juan the manager - who is usually around- is a helpful, friendly, and welcoming guy. He really makes the atmosphere of Casa Verde come to life.
