Liked: Nice and basic accommodation. Pleasant and quiet atmosphere and the staff were really helpful. The breakfast was hearty and delicious. The guest kitchen was very well equipped!

Disliked: The rooms are a bit outdated and the toilet-showers are miniature.

Liked: Very nice location on the lake. Very good breakfast, helpful staff.

Disliked: More of a bed+breakfast than a youth hostel, so not really easy to meet people. No wireless - but you can get access in the train station waiting room (hotel next door has free wireless :) ) Expensive, but that's Norway for you.

Liked: Located at the lake so you had a nice view. Clean en spacious with a lot of facilities. We did like the breakfast very much.

Disliked: It was a little high in price.

Liked: nice view, people are friendly and thoughtful, facilities is good. the first hostel with sauna i had.

Disliked: a little bit hard to find. they dont have clear sign to follow. but you can reconise by "BREAKFAST AND BED"when you arrived.

Liked: Stunning location, amazing breakfast, exceptional hostel!!! Worth staying here if visiting Bergen / Flam etc.

Liked: Everything!! The renting of canoes was loads of fun!! When we emailed them the day before we were due to get there they repied promptly and were very helpful. What they don't tell you enoough of is there eco-friendlyness!! The farm across the road literly provides them with all their organic vegetabes!! I loved the atmospere and the relaxed rules. Some even had a camp fire on the beach!! It was great and I'm def going back.

Disliked: It was a bit far from the train staition [but not too far] And their directions wheren't clear but once i asked it was easy, right out of the train staitions main door.

Liked: The view is fantastic. If you are doing the Norway in a nutshell journey from Bergen to Oslo, I highly recommend taking the train from Bergen in the evening, staying at this hostel for the night and continuing the next morning. You'll get a good night sleep, wake up to a great scenery (not as early as you would have to in Bergen) and enjoy a nice breakfast.

Disliked: There is nothing to lock your belongings in the rooms.

Liked: bit expensive but resonable. here is oslo.location is not so good. almost 1km far from central station.but brackfast was amazing.you should try.lastly i would like to say good bye Lala who is a little spainish girl stayed with me on same day. good luck with your futher life.
