Liked: Close to bus/train station ad main street, though the area quite dodgy and run down.

Disliked: Could definitely improve on cleanliness! Blocked sink in the room (reported, they did nothing), no soap in bathrooms and toilets, far too few showers and toilets for such a big establishment so expect queues, shower on 3rd floor stinks terribly. Wi-fi very poor, disconnects you every couple of minutes. Pretty expensive given all above. Will neither stay there again nor recommend to anyone.

Liked: I din't get all the bad comments about this hostel. I've been to dozens of hostels and this one is comparitively good. Any accomodation for this price in Oslo is good.

Disliked: No sinks in the toilets except the two on the 2nd floor. The area can get a little seedy at night as it's near a couple of strip bars and prostitutes are about but they are unthreatening.

Liked: The location

Disliked: Very noisy. People shauting in the patio until 3 am. People with music in the rooms until 2 am. Maybe goog for party, but not to relax.

Liked: Very good location, friendly staff, sink/water in a room, linen included in price. Reasonably quiet. Definetely it was very good to have a place to stay in Oslo centrum.

Disliked: It did not seem very clean(floors, toilets), few toilets and showers, narrow beds.

Liked: I liked how very secure the hostel was--there was a code to enter the hostel building the entire day, and you are also given a key to your dorm.

Disliked: I found it strange that there were only 1 set of showers on 1 floor of the building, which serves 3 floors of rooms! There was a WC on each floor, but very limited in facilities. The building was also quite old.

Liked: Good central location/Easy and not complicated stay

Disliked: A bit grubby As a woman I might not particularly wish to stay there alone....there were lots of long term male residents and drinking.

Liked: it was central and among the cheaper in Oslo

Disliked: it was a boring place, worn and torn and no hostalcharacter

Liked: The hostel was very big and with excellent location just a stone's throw from the railway station. They have good system with rooms and entrance codes, since the recetion isn't open between 24 - 8. I checked out 4am and it was simple as well, just leave the key to reception's mailbox. In a hostel there's also a big kitchen where is place to everyone to cook. In your room you could find a fridge to keep your food.

Disliked: About the cleanliness, there was clean but I could smell some rotten fish and old cigarette there wich wasn't that pleasant. But I could definitely go again!

Liked: The location is its only good point

Disliked: Rooms had too many beds, if they want that many people in one room they should opt for bunks for more space and to also provide lockers or some form of storage. the doors do not automatically lock like most hostels and can only be locked if someone remembers to lock with a key.

Liked: Perfect location, overall very clean. It was a disadvantage if you stayed on the 4th floor as I did because you had to trek down to the 2nd floor to use the showers and there were no sinks or soap in the bathrooms on the 4th floor which I thought was unacceptable. But the location, cleanliness of the room, and overall atmosphere made up for the negatives.

Disliked: I would recommend an interior room if you want a quite's night sleep as it was quite noisy with people screaming and walking by at 4 am.

Disliked: Not the cleanest. no common area so impossible to meet anyone other than roommates tv and dvd player in room did not work only 2 toilets per floor and upper floors have only one sink each just 4 showers for the whole location
