Liked: Right on Karl Johan's Gate and near the Opera House, very central location. The rooms themselves are very nice and quite spacious.

Disliked: There were not enough showers (only one or two per floor, with lots of people around) and not many bathrooms. The kitchen's facilities were a bit old and the oven didn't work.

Liked: Wonderful location, very helpful staff, were able to point out all the great locations to go to within the city.

Liked: The location is its best feature. Also the staffs are really nice.

Disliked: Some stranger can always come into this hostel and their policy for them is not very clear. Sometimes it makes me feel not very safe. In fact, some other residents and I lost our stuff in this hostel, one of them told me that his locker was broken by someone. I lost my electric shaver, my plug adaptor, my charger of mobile phone and my glasses box... It is really strange, I do not tend to say this is because of this hostel's safety problem. But people who want to stay here should consider the possibility.

Liked: nice building, no dubbel beds, just normal ones.

Disliked: wc is far away, showers are even furder (only on first floor). wc and shower was not clean. before we got there, there were items stolen (laptop, cellfone) from the room we were in. and the room was expensive

Liked: Helpfulness of the staff and Location (near the City Centre).

Disliked: I spent 210 euros just to have a private twin with private bathroom. I arrived at the hostel and the receptionist told me that there are no bathrooms in the rooms but only a sink with a mirror and there's a common bathroom on each floor and 4 showers on the ground floor. It's scandalous ! The hostel has four floors with 20 rooms on each floor. Every morning and every evening all the customers crowded bathrooms and showers, creating inconveniences and wasting of time. In addition, the room was never cleaned in four days !

Liked: FRIENDLY STAFFREALLY CLOSE TO EVERYWHERE.NICE PLACE TO STAY.

Disliked: WE DIND'T HAVE A REMOTE CONTROL FOR THE TV AND DVD. FOR THE PRIVATE ROOMS IT WOULD BE BETTER TO HAVE INSIDE A TOILET. THE KITCHEN SOMETIMES WAS DIRTY BUT BECAUSE OF OTHER TRAVELLERS ( THEY DIN'T CLEAN AFTER USING)

Liked: Sentrum Pensjonat is located at a very strategic place - right in the middle of the city and close to sentral station. You can go to main tourist attractions by foot. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Liked: very friendly staff. no charge for bed linen, towels and luggage storage. location: very close to central station. kitchen and living room for everyone!! easy to meet lots of people!!

Liked: The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. Free wireless and internet, good kitchen facilities. Location was right near the main train station. Tv and couch area. The rooms were some of the nicest Ive stayed in and the beds were uber comfy!

Disliked: there is no elevator.. so, very hard to walk my room (4th floor)

Liked: It was a nice, clean hostel. sheets and towels provided for free.

Disliked: It was a little pricey, however, it is in the city. book well in advance to get cheaper rate! Showers are good, but only 5 showers in one area to share for whole hostel.

Liked: The staff are great, they even washed my clothes for me without additional charge. Great kitchen and a television and DVD player in each bedroom.

Disliked: The price is a little high but with the facilities on offer the price is not so bad.

Liked: Neat building, really great, helpful staff!

Disliked: I disliked that the head of my bed was RIGHT NEXT to the room door. Also, only one bathrrom per floor, and one shower room for the whole building, though with three showers. Didn't see anyone standing in line though, and I never had to wait.

Liked: It provided all the basic ammenities you'd expect in a hostel, which was good. It had a good location and was close to the train station.

Disliked: It is pretty old and run down and being Norway, it didn't work out to be that cheap for what it was. But by Norway standards, it was good value.

Liked: free DVD's to borrow

Disliked: We stayed in a private double room. There was just one toilet at each floor and this one was just disgusting. One sink for each floor no soap no mirror. The showers were on the 2nd floor (4 showers for the whole hostel (and they were dirty as well)!!! for man and women the same). Dirty floor in the room. Much too expensive for this property.
