Customer reviewI really didn't like this hostel. It is conveniently located downtown and close to the train station and the ferry terminal. However, it wasn't clean (toilets in hallways in particular), it smelled bad (many people smoked in the staircase), and mostly, I didn't feel safe staying there as a woman travelling alone. Many older men use this hostel as their permanent home, and it wasn't nice to share a room with people like that. |

Jack BradburyPretty relaxed atmosphere with no curfew. Very central location so easy to get to ferries for islands or central station etc. Showers spacious and clean. |

Customer reviewWe were not keen on having a huge fridge nor a television in a room, which is on the whole of a very basic standard. The rooms we stayed in were clean, but there was a funny smell. The breakfast in the coffee bar down stairs was a big nuisance. The poor guy in the bar was completely unexperienced and the food he presented was an offence. |

M Shariff LubisReasonably cheap (by Oslo standards) considering location closeness to city center. Free laundry was very useful and saves time and money. Unfortunately, not enough toilets and showers for everyone. |

Stephan Bartelsgood location, once you speak with staff, they are very helpful. It is a little too expensive, beds are good. nice rooms, too. Washing rooms and Showers only in second floor, as hostel is quite big, you might have to walk a little to get your shower. Most people I met were not very open and friendy, so don´t expect a buzzing backpacker place. |
