Liked: This hostel felt too "Cookie Cutter" like most HI hostels do. They charged your for things like your key and sheets and the place was ridiculously hard to find. The directions of the site and on Hostel Bookers are horrible and don't tell you anything about where the place is. Having a Guest Kitchen was a redeeming quality and the bathrooms were pretty nice. The cabinets in the rooms do not lock and there are not lockers available.

Liked: it was okay if your a family with a bunch of kids and want to stay somewhere safe and good. im a student and want to hang out and party with girls my own age, not a bunch of boring old people and little kids, this is not a party hostel or a good place to make friends.

Liked: It has very modern facilities and it is very clean. But it is verty big which makes it a little bit harder to meet people.

Liked: Having a communal kitchen was extremely useful, as eating out every day in Oslo is very expensive! It's not in the centre, but easily accessible by a ten minute tram or bus ride.

Liked: A few problems with getting the internet working (but it's free), and the key card kept de-activating. But breakfast was good, it has a great outdoors area, and it's near a metro station.

Liked: The property offers great facilities and the front office staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. However, the location of the hostel is terrible, especially if you are arriving from Rygge.

Liked: The location is not amazing but the tram trip is not that long. Considering the price of other hostels in Oslo, this is a good value for money.

Liked: location far from city, clean but sheets not provided and breakfast okay...not the best value for money

Liked: Despite other reviews this hostel was actually very close to the centre of Oslo, about 10-15 minutes on the tram which stops a 3 minute walk from the hostel. The hostel itself was peaceful, secure and considering the expense of Norway, this was excellent value for money.

Liked: The hostel is outside the center (though not that far by public transportation). The building feels a bit cold to me. boring corridors and strict rules. I won't be visiting again.
