Liked: Clean. Good room situations.

Disliked: As a 62 year old man, it was fine. I think that 80% of those staying there were close to my age. If I had been a young traveler and sought the typical hostel life, I would have been disappointed.

Liked: The place is incredible, everything is pretty in the hostel. Since they have some room with particular bathroom, I felt like I was in Marriot. The breakfast was really amazing, outstanding!! If you pay some coins (I don't remember how much) they allow you to make 2 sandwiches and take it out to eat during the day! It's the best hostel of Oslo.

Disliked: I thought it was a little bit expensive in the beginning, but after that I realize all the city is expensive and the hostel (which stills being expensive) worthed (many credits to the breakfast). Just be aware, they charge you in 5 pounds or so for the sheets. If you are going to stay just 1 or 2 days, you will not need it.

Liked: i love the location. it´s up on a beautiful hill that looks down on the city. really easy to get to and from the city center from the hostel and the breakfast was amazing

Disliked: it´s more a family place so didn´t really have the hostel expreience of meeting lots of young travelers but still very nice for a relaxing time

Liked: its beautiful location and pleasant atmosphere

Disliked: not enough equipment in the kitchen, no medium sized saucepans or frying pans, not enough skillets and utensils in general. With about NOK 3000 on kitchen equipment, the hostel would be perfect!

Liked: THE BREAKFAST WAS AMAZING! so many options plus typical norwegian cheese and pickled herring. most. amazing. breakfast. and it was included.

Disliked: it was a beautiful facility, one of the best i've stayed at so far, but there were no lockers in the room, just cupboards. it would be wonderful if they just drilled a hole in them for a lock.

Liked: nice rooms and nice common areas.

Disliked: the location is not good, it's quite far from the city center, it's near to a tram stop but the snow made the way a bit difficult the same to reach the hostel from the airport.

Liked: Fantastic range of facilities and very clean. I loved the games and sleds the hostel lent out. Also, the breakfast was very good value for money.

Disliked: Nothing, really. TV room was a little overcrowded.

Liked: Up on a hill, good view of the city. Close to a grocery store. Very nice building.

Disliked: Bit far from the centre of Oslo.

Liked: The breakfast is amazing. Good hostel generally speaking.

Disliked: It is too far from the city centre. The lockers are insecure. Internet didn´t worked very well.

Liked: The hostel service is organized very well. You can buy tickets for public transport, souvenirs, packed lunch at the reception. Maps and city guidance are freely available. The corridors are decorated with the nice pictures of Norwegian artists. There is also a collection of minerals.

Disliked: A little bit cold in the rooms and toilets in winter

Liked: It was a nice hostel all around. Clean rooms and bathrooms, close to the metro/tram/bus. Very friendly staff.

Disliked: If you are looking to meet younger people this is not the place. During my stay the majority of the people there were 40+ and many of them acted as if they lived there permanently. There were a few suspicious people as well. Although there is a fairly large kitchen, it is not well equipped for preparing meals.

Disliked: location is little far from city center, so we should buy transportation ticket.

Liked: It is very spacious and comfortable place to stay.. I was personally happy to stay there and the scenery around the hostel is just amazing.

Disliked: People in the room were drinking alcohol and smoking cigarette. though it was not allowed.. hostel staffs were least bothered when complained.. but they allowed me to change my room..

Liked: It was clean.

Disliked: Miles away from town. It says it's s youth hostel but there are more pensioners there than at a retirement village and heaps of school camps.

Liked: I liked how clean the rooms and bathrooms were and the breakfast was very very good.

Disliked: I disliked the no drinking policy. If people keep to their own rooms I don't think it should be such a big deal. Obviously if people get rowdy they need to be dealt with but Norway is expensive and drinking at a pub is not really affordable.

Liked: The city of Oslo is quite compact but walking till the hotel is not a good idea. The tram and buses though leave you beside the hostel and they are a 5 mins trip from the city centre. The breakfast was very good and the staff friendly enough. They even let us sleep in a room before our check in time since we got there very early. Would stay here again if I ever come back to Oslo
