Liked: so close to train station for late arrival, so easy to get to, though instructions how to get there should be improved, e.g. tram lines from in front of station and name of stop to get off at.

Disliked: breakfast not included in price and voucher could be bought for nearby restaurant but it didn't open early.

Disliked: someone entered our room (when we are there sleeping in the night) to steel stuff from people and it seems it's getting common...

Liked: got to meet some good people. In suite kitchen is good...beds are good.

Disliked: having to pay for sheets is very disappointing. common area too small.wifi too weak.

Liked: The location is perfect!!

Disliked: Paying for bed linen and towels, only to put them on a dirty mattress with a cover on that looks as though it never gets changed!!!! Disgusting really. We also both got itchy rash on our legs that seeemed to start spreading and can only think it's due to this hideous mattress, bed bugs or something. YUK! Should be allowed to drink your own alcohol downstairs as there is no proper bar and oslo is already expensive.

Liked: Very good location ! There is a very helpful guy in the hostel and his name is Franco! Nice guy always giving to us good tips from Oslo, where to go, things to do... and the crazy thing is: he is not Norwegian! I can`t compare him with the rest of staff! Relaxing environment during the night! nice chats nice music! Thank you franco!

Disliked: every little thing has to be paid! You can`t drink your own beer in the reception lobby! at many hostels around Europe its possible to drink your own beer... hostels are for backpackers... which means short money! I know it`s Norway where everything is expensive but they could make the things easier!!

Liked: Nice place. It's big, it's got a common area where you can have some drinks. Clean and staff is friendly

Disliked: Not much. Oslo is an expensive place to visit though

Liked: Helpful staff, good service, New renovated rooms, cozy atmosphere ...and lot's of thing that is really nice....I love this place.....:D

Liked: We had a fantastic time in Anker hostel. Met a lot of great people and had a fun time. The staff were friendly and helpful, always suggesting places to go out. Franco made our time special by playing us music, and we could leave our luggage there as long as we needed. Location is perfect, in walking distance of sights and clubs.

Disliked: The crowd and vibe weren't amazing, but this might have been due to our luck, as well as their lack of a proper bar area. The hostel is quite pricey, but then again so is everything else in Oslo and this was the cheapest. Wasn't exceptionally clean, but did the trick for our stay.

Liked: Kitchen in rooms- very helpful in expensive Oslo. Really Comfortable Beds Good Location-just a short walk to everything.

Disliked: 50NOK for Linen The staff don´t know how to smile.

Liked: Very good located and seems to be the cheapest option to stay in such un expansive city as Oslo.

Disliked: I stayed in the 8-bed dorm and the kitchen was at the same space as the beds what made it almost impossible to cook smth without disturbing other people who were sleeping. One bathroom for 8 people is also risky. Moreover, it didn't seem to be clean enough even for hostel.

Liked: nice staff, cheap beer, wifi, kitchen inside the room

Disliked: very insecure for single traveller...no lockers in mixed room and the room door needs to be locked every time.. someone may forget it when leaving in the early morning and leave the door open..... and it is also a bit expensive

Liked: Fast internet, not a bad location, spacious bedroom

Disliked: Little bit dirty, renovations were happening in the room next door and started up at 7am each morning

Liked: not much.

Disliked: lockers in the room were broken; kitchen being inside the room makes a mess (you have to try to sleep sniffing the stuff that other room mates are preparing); staff was not friendly; had to pay for linen and towel.

Liked: Good location, helpful staff

Disliked: Cleanliness was lacking. Rooms look a bit like prison cells but that can be expected from the low cost. Had to share a room with 2 40 year old plus men who practically stayed in their room all day and ate chicken..did not feel at all comfortable sharing the room with them. They shut the windows and the room was stinking up.
