Liked: A fantastic location in the city centre and the staff are really helpful and informative. I would certainly recommend a stay at Anke Hostel!

Disliked: Staff couldn't care less about guests. Not very friendly.

Liked: The best thing about this hostel really is the location, the rest was okay...

Disliked: Looks nice and new from the outside but inside it really isn't. For the kitchen there is a silly cleaning plan where each room is supposed to clean in certain weeks - but really who does that when staying for a week or a few days^^... The internet is also pretty disappointing, every ten minutes the wlan connection gets lost... All in all this is no more than a place for mass processing!

Liked: The location is great. The room was quite big an had an own fridge. It's very easy to meet people, because in the lobby (where you have WiFi) lots of people are sitting around and maybe drink a beer.

Disliked: There was nothing to criticize.

Liked: The lobby was always busy - which stop you feeling lonely if you're by yourself

Disliked: The attitudes of the staff, the temperature of the rooms, and the squalidness of the bathrooms

Liked: The rooms were big and spacious with a little cooking area and a ensuite which was nice. The location was good, not too far from central station and central oslo.

Disliked: One of the night staff members was not helpful at all and was rude. I arrived the day of the bombings and asked if he could show me where it happened so i could afford the area and he said to "ask tomorrow".

Liked: the rooms were really big and each room had their own kitchenette and bathroom

Disliked: location in a bad district, although close to the city center no common room, no common kitchen

Liked: Good security, luggage room was free, and you could hang around waiting for check in and after you'd checked out which was really helpful since it was raining that day waiting for our bus

Disliked: You have a kitchen stovetop in your room, but you have to hire pots,pans, plates etc from reception for 12.50 euro. Not sure if you get this back when you return them as we only stayed 1 night and didn't bother,but is a bit strange

Liked: friendliness of staff and good pool of international customers. The description online was also very accurate, so we knew exactly what to expect, from time of check-in to location.

Disliked: hour of breakfast at 8:00 am is a bit late. Lots of people leave earlier.
