Liked: The room were excellent and facilities were good. Cooking equipment and stove in your room which was great. No complaints about rooms or staff. would recommend a stay here.

Disliked: It is a bit of a shifty area of the city and felt quite unsafe walking around. Watch your pockets at all times.

Liked: It's a nice and clean place. Staff is helpful. Kitchenette in room, which is good if you travel as a big group and want to cook your own meals.

Disliked: Bring your own linen. There is no locker so you need to take care of yout stuff.

Liked: Quite cheap

Disliked: Small rooms. While you are cooking if someone wants to enter to the room you can't, little space. The bath was small for 6 persons, wc with the shower too bad.

Liked: Seems to be pretty safe. The staff was very helpful pointing out where to go and what to see.

Liked: It^s not far away from the Central Station and Busstation of OSLO. For Norway it is quit cheap. Reinhard Nowak

Liked: The lobby was super full when we arrived. In order to get to your rom you do have to use a key to get to the right hallway and then another key for the room.

Disliked: There are no lockers in the dorms. Sleeping bags are not allowed. Doors to rooms do not self lock.

Liked: Forgot my jacket in the room, staff was very helpful to help me find it back. Good location and one of the cheapest ones in Oslo.

Disliked: No lockers, only checking in after 15h.

Liked: Okay. You are not going to get a better hostel deal in Oslo. It's expensive, but Oslo is expensive, and this is a cheap hostel. Even with the added cost for bedding (bring a sheet or something - it's 50NOK pay once), it's still the best buy in Oslo. Don't get breakfast - way too expensive. You can cook at the hostel for free! Just check out a box from reception. This is one of the friendliest hostels I found during two months in Europe. Always crowds of people around - sometimes even a bit too busy in the lounge and outside the doors. There is a wonderful riverside park not 100m away to the East. I don't know what other reviewers are talking about if they mention uncleanliness, disorderliness, or mean employees. I stayed four nights here with a friend, probably made about 17 changes to my booking, and they were always willing to help. Plus they give good cheap restaurant suggestions and know the town like the back of their hand.

Liked: The bathroom and kitchen in the room are an interesting advantage. Free wi-fi on the reception area also helps a lot.

Disliked: They don't have lockers on the rooms, which can turn out to be unsafe, though I had no problems.

Liked: Fairly central location, easy walk from the station. Good facilities, nothing exemplary but no downsides either. sort of expensive but so is anywhere in Norway.

Disliked: Very large, not really easy to meet people as the one downstairs "common room" / entranceway/reception is just everyone on their laptops.

Liked: Comfortable hostel with large dorms, very near the city center which is nice. Only stayed there for one night. There is a stove in each room but no pots, pans or oven so bring utensils and plan what you're going to eat.

Disliked: They charge for towels? And bedlinen? The towels especially are expensive...20 NOK!! The place is a little run down as well. No lockers but plenty of cabinet space!?!?! That strikes me as odd.

Liked: I thought the location was pretty good and the price was okay (by Norway standards of course). The staff were nice people.

Disliked: I didn't like the Kitchenette in the room-I am not a fan of people cooking dinner and breakfast where you sleep! The place was really busy and it almost felt like a supermarket with the queue of people trying to check-in and check-out. I thought the check-in time is too late 3 in the afternoon, hence, the stack of people trying to get there room for the night. The atmosphere wasn't great- the lounge area was more like a computer room... people just looking at their computer and nobody saying anything to eachother!
