Liked: Very cool lobby area, which you need to use because the Wifi doesn't work in the rooms.

Disliked: The door locks are unusually difficult to operate, but as long as you are under 20 you should be able to figure out the electronics on the first go.

Liked: easy to access railway station. beware of deposit - laundry and cooking material requires deposit.

Liked: Free wifi ;-) Close by the river which is nice for a walk or a morning run!

Disliked: I didn't find the staff very helpful when I had to make some urgent phonecalls. They basically pointed to the payphone and let me guess how to use it... When I needed more help, I was sent to the Internet cafe next door where they used to have phones, but don't anymore... Thankfully the man there was helpful and even came to show me how to use that payphone.

Liked: Good if you just need a bed. Location is ok, only two tram stops away on a busy line and still walkable distance. Has WiFi to the room and kitchen (borrow equipment). Private bathrooms are a plus.

Disliked: A very basic hostel in a cheerless neighborhood.

Liked: The price

Disliked: The dorm was soooo dirty. We did not get the type of room we booked. There were NO lockers luggage, just a room on the first floor that everyone had access to. There was no hot water. Good proximity to the Centre, but it is in a sketchier area. I didn't feel safe or secure.

Liked: Dorms with kitchenettes and bathrooms

Disliked: The staff were either inept or unfriendly. Several staff gave me the wrong directions, and all took long times to respond to people.

Disliked: There really wasn't a large common room compared to the great size of the hostel.

Liked: it was ok, it was close to the train station and the harbour. it was a sufficient place to stay, and one of the cheapest hostels in Oslo. the breakfast was pretty dece (but not included in the cost)

Disliked: the neighbourhood was kinda sketchy, might have been a ghetto, and ladies, you will probably be hit on / checked out by creepy foreigners on your way to and from the hostel. also, there was only a curtain seperating the toilet from the shower in the bathroom, so the floor was always wet. they had a kitchinette in the rooms, but no cooking equipment, so you would have to rent it at the reception.

Liked: its cheap

Disliked: It has not really a safe place to put your money. If you travel alone is difficult to know others because most are groups and not even young people. Age about 14-71.

Liked: Excellent location - within walking distance of the centre and the museums. Transit lines right outside that go directly downtown and to the beach at Huk.

Disliked: The staff were quite unfriendly. Very rude at check-in and not too helpful with our questions.

Liked: The price doesn`t include bed sheets and towel, so it gets little bit expensive.

Liked: Well located hostel with with nice staff. Room was big and furnished having even own bathroom

Liked: 24 hours check-in/out, big room with plenty of space for the luggage, the location (near the train station and a tram station just in front of the building)

Disliked: Not enough people working at the recption in relation to the arriving people. The cooking equipment you can rent varys quite a lot - not all boxes contain the same equipment, some didn't even include a brush for cleaning. During check-in you had to fill out lot of information about you (next destination, time spent in norway, reason of the stay etc.)

Liked: good location! easy to access bus terminal.we could enjoy watching world cup on TV area. thank you.

Disliked: I had bad room mates, that's why my stay was strongly getting uncomfortable.

Liked: The staff are really nice and helpful! The bathrooms are good, too! A little bit far, but very close to the bus stop, only 10-15 mins from the centre. So it's totally acceptable.

Disliked: There's no hairdrier, no kitchen.
