Geilo is a mountain town that offers many summer activities like mountain walking, fishing and other outdoor activities. Geilo is one of Norway's best winter sports centres with excellent alpine and cross-country facilities. The right place for an active holiday! The hostel is located in the Bestemor- and Gommehuset. Both these buildings have a common room with television. Bestemorhuset ("The Grandmahouse") has a sauna.
Øen Turistsenter is a modern, charming holiday centre with a long history. Guests have a wide range of accommodation to choose from and we cater for families, sports clubs and groups. We have cross-country ski tracks on our doorstep and well-prepared downhill slopes from the ski centre. Free fishing!
Our main building houses the reception, cafe/restaurant, outdoors terrace and pub with full license. There is a communal building with washing machine, tumble drier, sauna, kitchen, showers and toilets. Preparation room for skis with proper work benches. We hope you enjoy your stay.
