Liked: Good backpacking atmosphere, cheap by Norwegian standards and it had a kitchen plus free use of washing machine/dryer.

Disliked: The whole hostel closed between 11am-3pm which was annoying. The hostel is essentially one large divided room packed full of beds where about 50 people sleep - with only two toilets and showers that are not that clean. Despite this I didn't mind the place, but others might be turned off by this. NOTE: They have triple bunks with no ladders which might be an issue for some people. This should be clearly stated on their website.

Liked: This is a great hostel! The atmosphere is super friendly and you're bound to meet other travelers here. If you're like me and don't mind sleeping with 50 other people in one room, stay here! it's cheap and close to Bergen.

Disliked: One functional shower out of 2 is not enough for 50 people! Also, the third bunk is quite uncomfortable (though the first and second are tolerable). The bathrooms and showers are quite dirty and smell of mold. They should clean more.

Liked: The price, the central location, free coffee/tea and biscuits every night.

Disliked: Showers are practically occupied all the time. The kitchen is rather small. Three beds on top of each other is not ideal.

Disliked: Crowded and expensive for this kind dorm. Only 2 toilets and one is not flushing properly. For bath, have to press button outside, if forget ...have to go out again and press.

Liked: The location.

Disliked: It's just a big house with like 50 bunk beds with no locks or good security. Very noisy. For what it is it should be like 5 to 10 pounds a night.

Liked: Good location, common/dining room and kitchen were clean. Staff were OK.

Disliked: Description of room misleading - it's just one big dorm, with a few screens between areas (but no doors). Also, didn't see any luggage shelves. Place was a bit unclean, one shower was unusable (door didn't close), one toilet kept flooding. No internet access. Quite expensive for what's on offer.

Liked: That we were able to leave after one night. Awful place that is a fire accident waiting to happen.

Disliked: Bunk beds were impossible to get in and out of, I have stayed in Illinois State Prisons that had nicer beds. -3 toilets for 55 people is just ridiculous. I know you might have to wait to take a pee at a hostel, and that's fine, but 20 minutes later and I almost wet my pants. -The staff were ignorant Americans (I am also an American). They were rude, did not seem to clean though the hostel was closed for 3 hours during the day for cleaning. -The signs everywhere telling me all the things I was not allowed to do were not very welcoming. I understand hostels need some rules, but they do not have to be in 17 places.

Disliked: It is dirty.And there are people sleep so late and the other people wake up so early.I didinot sleep the whole night.and have been planned to live there for two days,But change another hotel.No blanket and towel ,even no lock at the shower's room door.

Liked: price - especially in norway. you should aware that there's just one big dormitory where all 63 person sleep. though still worth money.

Disliked: i slept on the top of 3-story bed, which was quite thrilling to me. Too small wc/shower place.

Liked: Very nice people in the reception, and the location is very convinient.

Disliked: The room is very crowed, and three level bunk beds is not too much confortably, especially if you sleep in the thirth level.
