 Rooms were neat, staff was friendly and had humor. Beds were good, location was perfect.

The hostel is located on a busy street, therefor it is impossible to leave the windows open for the air to come in. During our stay at the hostel, it was extremely hot and we had a room on the the third floor and the room was a split level, thus our actual bed was on the fourth floor. Also, the hostel is located above a pub type establishment, and the last night, the pub was active until 04:00AM... keeping us awake.

Location is hard to beat, private rooms/apartments are well appointed. Great beer garden out the back.

Jacobs was ideally priced for people on a budget in Bergen. It was clean and tidy and situated centrally for most things.
