It very central situated, even everything in the center around Brygge is with walking distance, but it is nice, cause you shouldn't think about the transport.

Very helpful staff who ironed out a problem with our booking. Large common areas, great kitchen and a little fridge in our room to store our food.

The staff were friendly, the place was clean, there was a comfortable common room where I could hook up my laptop, there was wifi, there were lockers to store bags in, and the location was perfect for my purposes.

Fully equipped kitchen and facilities in our room as well. Clean and nice bathroom (we had ensuite 6bed room). Good location, and new, tidy and quiet.

This hostel is very close to town center so we can enjoy sightseeing easily.

Quiet and clean. I slept in a dormitory with I guess 20 backpackers of both sexes, but had no difficulties to sleep. I was in Bergen for a conference, that took most of my time, so I didn't engage in meeting people in the hostel. I had no time to use the kitchen, that seemed a bit to small, though. Breakfast was fresh, but a little poor, compared to breakfast in Swedish youth hostels. Location excellent, just a few steps from the fish market, the Fløyen funicula and other Bergen "musts". When my wife and I return to Bergen, this time as tourists, we will surely stay at the hostel.

The location is fantastic, one minute to Bryggen and five minutes to bus and train stations. My room had a little kitchen -really useful, because the town is extremely expensive- and bathroom inside!!! Try to book months before, and you'll get a small room only for you and your friends.

I really liket the hostel but they should do something with the women showers, they are far away and enough for all the people!
