Ålesund Hostel is situated in the centre of town and offers 2-, 4-, 5- and 6 bedded rooms. However the bigger rooms 4-, 5,- and 6 bedded rooms, they can be used as single, double or 3 bedded rooms. Most rooms have en-suite facilities.

Breakfast is included in the price May-September, rest of the year for groups.; other meals can be prepared in the guest kitchen or be bought.

Ålesund is located at the mouth of the Geiranger fjord, and is famous for its Jugendstyle architecture. The town has interesting sights like the city- and coastal museums and the arctic museum. Season: 01.01.-31.12. Openhouers of reception May and September 08.00-10.00 and 16.00-20.00. Open summer Jun-Aug. 08.00-11.00 and 16.00-00.30.

Ålesund was rebuilt after the town fire in 1904, and the town is today one of 3 European towns with the magnificent Jugend architecture. Other sights: the picturesque fishing harbor Brosundet, boat life among the street Skansegata, the breathtaking view over fjord, mountains and the ocean from Fjellstua, the open air museum Sunnmøre Friluftsmuseum in Borgundgavlen, Aalesunds Museum and the Aquarium.
