Liked: Near to the Portstewart promenade.

Disliked: It was not tidy - the room carpet looked like it hadn't been hoovered in months and the showers/toilets were unpleasant. I know it's a hostel and you're going for cheap, but cleanliness has to be the top priority and unfortunately that was not the case here.

Liked: Location is wonderful, right on the ocean.

Disliked: The cleanliness of this hostel is quite pretty bad. Apart from clean bedding, the washrooms needs work and the kitchen was pretty bad.

Liked: It was quiet, the guy working was really friendly, and the common room had cool stuff in it. There was a really sweet cat named Ginger who tried to eat our supper. It was cute.

Disliked: Really tiny bathrooms and there were only like 2 toilets for the whole hostel. Location is fine to town centre, but the town is not as accessible as others nearby.

Liked: This charming hostel is perfectly located in the Northern reaches of Ireland. My friend and I both stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and friendly 'vibe' offered by the staff and accomodations. Since it Ireland was among our first few destinations, it was certainly a great way to have started off our trip! I would go back in a heartbeat.

Liked: - friendly and relaxed stuff - quiet location - close to the sea

Disliked: the quality of the room was below our expectations for 70,00 euro the night. especially: the bathroom door couldnt be closed properly, the fan in the bath was not mounted properly and didnt work. the window blinds didnt cover the whole window and the mattresses were very thin and not comfortable at all.

Liked: the location was very central. centre was reachable by foot. Parking place was just around the corner.

Disliked: It proved to be not really clean. asked to get new sheets as they had stains. new ones were not really cleaner. Did not shower cause the shower and the bathroom/toilet was disgusting. Thought it would be more lovingly decorated, nicer atmosphere.

Liked: Good location; close to the sea and walk distance to a street with many coffee shops, bars, take-aways ( fish n chip, Chinese & Indian) . Rick was helpful and offered me discount when hearing my booking a double room as a single traveller. Also, you expect to be very happy to meet Ginger if you are a Cat lover; she is really cute!

Disliked: Not really. But wish there could be a TV in the kitchen as I stayed there on Saturday and wanted to watch BBC Match of the Day ...

Liked: Home-style accomadation, very near to the sea. Good value for money.And there is a cat!

Disliked: Recommend to live in double room (actually one double bed+one single bed) instead of twin room, because it is bigger but at the same price.

Liked: Rick is the man. The location is great. Portstewart is really close to the best stuff to see in the area. Ginger is cool too.

Disliked: Mattress wasnt the best.
