Liked: Steve is laid back and happy to help. He gave me the quick guide to Derry, which was great since I was only here for the day. The hostel is more of a house which is brilliant, since you have that home away from home feel and it's just great.

Disliked: Nothing. ^^

Liked: I loved staying here! Great staff, very welcoming and friendly. Very comfortable and affordable.

Liked: the staff were so friendly and helpful. The easy going laid back atmosphere in the Common Room.

Disliked: No safe for valuables, or even lockers, but 'Bree' stored my laptop for me. No proper area to dinie, but these are mere nit pickeries. A truly wonderful place to stay

Liked: Good location, extremely helpful staff. The hostel was very quiet while we stayed there, although it didn't seem it was empty. Perhaps that's because we were not in the main building.

Disliked: Beds. Please replace the mattresses :) The fact that rooms aren't en-suite, but there was a bathroom on each floor and they were clean.

Liked: The hostel was clean and the staff very helpful.The location of the hostel is very convenient to do sightseeing around Derry.

Disliked: There were no lockers in the room.

Liked: Good clean bathrooms to be sick in. Had a virus, so was in hostel bedridden my whole stay!

Liked: Very clean, cutely decorated. Clean bathrooms, thankfully. Friendly, helpful staff. We stayed in their "Annex" property, which I would definitely recommend for couples. Their credit card machine wasn't working, but other than that we had a really enjoyable experience.

Disliked: Credit card machine was down.

Liked: really friendly place, home away from home type accommodation, big kitchen area, fantastic couch under skylights, very friendly and helpful staff, great info on tours and sights in the derry area, backyard, wifi, heaters in rooms

Disliked: a couple more shelves up would come in really handy as the only out-of-the-way place to store stuff is the window sill & under one of the beds...

Liked: I only stayed here for 1 night but would highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Derry. The location is good and the staff very helpful. Breakfast is free though simple, and the bread was very good that day. Down the street there are Chinese takeways (cheap and still open in the night!), Japanese restaurant, and Tesco -- all ~ 5 min walk. Enjoy your night on the Waterloo street with a lot of pubs, at most 10 min walk.; or just simply relax in the kitchen of the hostel, with good music and a cute backyard.

Liked: Great kitchen, very well equipped.

Disliked: Doorbells ringing at 2 in the morning. Something should be worked out so the whole house doesn't have to be woken up if someone forgets a key.
