Liked: clean. good location. in a nice little house (a real house) about 5-10 mins walk from the city walls and 2 mins from bogside and the murals. nice staff.

Liked: Of all the hostels I have stayed, this is one of the best. Really nice building. Geoff showed us the Free Derry Tour and all the best pubs. Cant wait to come backto Derry.

Liked: Property advertised was being renovated so I eventually found and stayed at 12 Princes St. of the same owners. Very tastefully renovated to the point of it looking like someones home...all timber, glass bricks and very modern kitchen. Good common areas. Interesting ornaments etc as per another's comments.

Disliked: I don't know where the commented on 'Josh and Jeff' were, but my 'host' was gruff, abrupt and just downright rude with an attitude that was very much speak when you're spoken to...so in the end that's how it was. He seemed to be almost friendly to one guest, but at the end of my two days I sussed she may well have been a friend or relative who was doing the housekeeping. The bathrooms were gorgeous as well including a lovely bath, but no heating in them made you not want to be in there! It was seriously about 2° ! Even though I marked that I would recommend a stay it is for the hostel building not the people and I would not return there myself. No locker for laptop or valuables.

Liked: Very clean, fun place to stay. The staff really encourage a fantastic and friendly atmosphere, we all went out together on the Friday night! I would recommend this hostel.

Liked: I took some time to find the place, the sigh should be a bit bigger, we stayed in the private room, iits very clean n nice. We can cook in the kitchen. Everything is fine. It's very worthy staying here.

Liked: the staff were all great, making an effort to include their guests in nights out and providing a relaxed, homely atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay, where you are looked after and want to meet fellow travelers.

Liked: Nice furnishing and ornaments inside, nice atmosphere.

Disliked: Just one table available in the kitchen, room not very clean (beddings seemed used).

Liked: Brilliant hostel, Josh and Jeff (staff) were so nice I'm seriously considering disowning my parents in a vain attempt to petition them to adopt me in a sham gay marriage scenario. Helpful staff, good rooms, all the facilities you could need, just a really super place really.

Liked: Clean place, you could smell the cleaning supplies when you arrived. Very good location and helpful staff. Decent breakfast.

Disliked: It was extremely noisy at night. Not sure if it was just the other people staying there, but they were loud and shouting in the halls at night with no on-site staff asking them to be quiet. Shared bathrooms were nice and clean with hot water, however there were not enough to accomodate the number of guest. Always a line-up. The bed was uncomfy... very springy, I would imagine pretty old.

Liked: This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at, and can't recommend it enough. Not just the room, which was comfortable, but the dining room, the lounge, the availability of music, TV, internet - and fantastic art that the owners have collected from all over the world.

Disliked: nO PLACE TO LOCK MY COMPUTER.

Liked: Apart from the lousiest mattress of the trip, it was great. Free wi-fi that reached to the rooms, free breakfast with fresh baked bread, helpful staff in a good location. Close to supermarket, and a well equipped kitchen.
