Liked: Tradition hostel. Nice people, as almost all Irish. Cat living there.

Disliked: Door lock was just for fun. Locked door can move move then 1 cm. Crazy floor. Cabinet in fire place. Internet just in one building, but private rooms are in different.

Liked: Great location for street parking and being close to the centre of town! Friendly staff and warm atmosphere!

Disliked: No lockers in rooms. The backpackers is not signed clearly from the outside. Make sure you take note of the address..

Liked: Very comfy and homey, like staying in someone's home. Location -- on side street (so quiet) but close to everything. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Good value.

Disliked: No lift, but I was helped to carry luggage up stairs.

Disliked: Not always as clean as I would have hoped. But average, I guess, for a backpackers' place.

Liked: We had very friendly roommates. I like ensuites, and we had one here.

Disliked: It was difficult to find, even with the directions from the website. The ensuite bathroom was kind of dark and smelly. Some other guests went out partyinng, and were very loud when they returned late at night. The included breakfast was was scanty.

Liked: The downstairs of the property was great. Great facilities and large kitchen.

Disliked: It is quite a walk from the bus and train station, and up a large hill. One of the toilets was not completely finished with the decorating.

Liked: The location was quite good, the atmosphere in common room and the manager was really cool, told us a lot about the city when we were checking in but...

Disliked: I was moved to another room during my stay, the problem was that I was away that day, so there were people let in to my private room, my stuff still there. I had to run through other girls stuff to find my stuff, and some of them were just put on the floor, so they get dirty. I was working in hostels for 4 years, I don't mind moving, but the receptionist should have taken my stuff to the room I was moved to, and then let other people in. And when I came back to ask what happened, I didn't even hear 'sorry for problem' and the receptionist wasn't sure if my things were still in there. The other two problems are: bathroom - the water gets out of the shower in absolutely each bathroom, so there's flood every morning, and breakfast is not enough when there are more people.

Liked: Good hostel. In summer was so clean... in winter not so much. but beautiful.

Liked: The living room is lovely and the staff was helpful when they were asked.

Disliked: It could be difficult to park your car, because there are not so many parkings outside. Except the living room there is no additional room to eat.

Liked: The hosts were wonderful/ the common room was very welcoming.

Disliked: the bathrooms and toilets need some work. rooms were pretty chilly in the afternoon. Dorm rooms were really crowded. no room for luggage as well as 6 people!
