Recommended by Lonely Planet, Rick Steves & Lets Go! Derry Palace is a charming 50bed hostel located in the centre Historic Derry. Located only 3 blocks away from the city walls (1613) and the ‘Bogside’ district, the scene of Bloody Sunday (1972). Our aim is a safe, clean & comfortable Hostel.

We provide 4 and 6 bed dormitory rooms (several with bathrooms) and also private rooms with en-suite bathroom facilities. There is also a modern and fully equipped Kitchen.
A fine breakfast is included free with each stay in the hostel. Along with that we also provide the use of laundry facilities, free internet access, and vital parking facilities.
We also offer day trips to Donegal and the Giants Causeway. As we are linked to the Paddy wagon circuit, small mini buses of independent travelers are coming and going regularly linking our hostel with the other great hostels in Ireland North and South.
We have an elegant Georgian TV room (SKY Sports and movies!) and adjoining dining room with Pool Table. We also have a backyard, ideal for socializing and sharing stories, very enjoyable in summer nights!
We are an integral part of the local community and we welcome all to stay regardless of race, sexuality, political or religious belief!
