About Arnies Backpackers

Small & personable 27 bed hostel within a Victorian Town House.
We have a lovely kitchen, dining-room, lounge and garden open to all visitors. Along with Free WIFI we have internet access available on our in house computer. This is an environmentally friendly establishment as we recycle. You might be lucky enough to meet the jack russell dogs that often visit! Feel free to use our in house piano and guitar. No curfew or lockout.

Our friendly staff will do their best to make you feel right at home. Feel free to ask for any information about tours, traveling, and the local area. Arnie's is the ideal place to explore the culture, nightlife, shops and entertainment in Belfast. Tours of Belfast and Giants Causeway from the hostel and lots of info and advice!!

We provide a full kitchen and common areas kept warm by real coal fires, along with radios and a television/DVD player. We also have laundry facilities available to guests.

Tours
Black Taxi Tours: Run daily from the hostel. An informative tour which takes you to see the Peace Wall, both catholic and protestant murals of Belfast, the Titanic shipyard and slipway, the museum district and much more.

Giants Causeway: Tours leave from the hostel every morning. Tour includes a trip along the North East Coast line through the 9 Glens, stops at the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, Giants Causeway, and Bushmill's Distillery.

Location Information

Situated in the beautiful Queens University area (1 min walk to campus) and only 10 min walk from city centre and 5-10 min walk to bus/train stations.
We are just a 5 minute walk to the Botanical gardens and the Ulster museum. Also close to a variety of restaurants, bars with folk music and shops.

Arnie's is close to the Europa bus centre on Great Victoria Street, ahead towards Queen's Uni, when you see Queen's Uni shows up on left hand side, the street on right hand side is Fitzwilliam Street. Turn right and find the house number 63!
