Liked: a brilliant hostel. i stayed at 15 and this was one of my favs. great location, friendly staff and travellers, great location, comfy, awesome kitchen, tv (huge screen!) room, washing service. awesome.

Liked: The staff were really helpful. Gave great information about belfast and what to see. Helped with booking tours. Breakfast was quite good.

Disliked: The showers weren't great. Went hot/cold and the shower head fell out of the holder.

Liked: how it was so central to the city and how clean the place is kept. The staff were also very helpful!!

Liked: Lagan Backpackers is so far one of the best backpackers i have stayed in. The staff are all friendly and helpful and its obvious their focus is on making the customer happy. Was also a great environment to meet people which is perfect for the solo traveller. I was never lonely or alone and easily found people to have dinner with or talk to or goo out with. The managers passing out free beer each night sure helps. Also so far the only backpackers ive stayed at that offers a free hot breakfast. Defintely a great place to stay.

Disliked: Nothing to not liek really. Internet was a litle slow but this is a server problem and well, its free wifi so cant really complain.

Liked: Extremely friendly and helpful staff. 24 hour reception. Breakfast (even made us toast and hot drinks when going out an hour before breakfast).

Disliked: A bit too noisy after midnight.

Liked: The staff were friendly, large loung with huge projectore screen and loads of movies, comfortable beds, not too packed. 24 hour reception. Free cooked breakfast. Showers were good ! Not far from town - walking distance. I would stay here again.

Liked: A good place if you want a relaxing stay. Nice area to stay in.

Disliked: It didn't have great spaces for meeting other backpackers and socialising.

Liked: A central location, close to the university.

Disliked: We had to leave after our first night, utterly exhausted from lack of sleep. One of our party was in the single room next to the front desk and was kept awake THE ENTIRE NIGHT by street noise, and then noise from the front desk. I was in another single room, but only managed a few hours due to street noise, and that's WITH EARPLUGS! When we declared that we were leaving after the first night, the staff had no quibble (clearly this must happen often). As a result we arrived completely exhausted and in poor spirits for our conference. I would definitely not recommend this hostel to anyone who actually wants a good night sleep.

Liked: I loved the whole atmosphere of the place. Everyone was really friendly and helpful, and from the moment we got there they did everything they could to make our stay perfect. I'm deffinetly going back soon.

Liked: Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good breakfast (included in the price) and nice entertainment room.

Disliked: The bathroom was old and the overall aspect was not attractive at all although IT WAS clean.

Liked: Everything! It was my first time in a hostel so I was a little nervous but now I never want to go back to hotels.

Disliked: I choose a private room but now wish I'd gone for shared.
