Liked: Good location. It is very close to the city centre. It is reasonably cheap as well, you get good value for money. There is a kitchen there, dining room, common area, several single toilets and showers. The staff are friendly and helpful. The second time I stayed here, they put me in a different room - however, one more expensive, private bathroom and with less beds than what I had paid for. So, I can't complain there.

Disliked: The hostel felt more like a home because it lacked character and was hardly decorated. The furniture is quite worn out and the lighting is quite dim. The toilets are probably only cleaned once a day - on my first night there, I thought that they didn't supply any toilet paper because none of the toilets had it! The large dorm rooms don't have any locks.

Liked: The blankets were thick and warm, the shower was hot, beds were comfy enough. The parking is only 10 pounds for 24 hours and is gated so it safe I guess. It's only 5 pounds if you arrive after 6pm. Location is pretty good, just a few blocks from city hall. it was clean from what I could tell.

Disliked: The rooms are freezing so the thick blankets are needed. There is not breakfast, not even cereal to have in the morning so go buy your own. Rooms are super cramped. We stayed in room 3 with 10 beds and thank God there were only 4 people in our room most of the time (2 new guys arrived at like 2 am) or else there would no space for your bags at all. the total room size was about 10 feet by 16 feet with 5 bunk beds in it and a sink. There were only 2 bathrooms with a shower and toilet for our whole hall, that's 7 rooms with probably about 4-10 beds each. Not to mention someone's stuff got stolen while we were there and the hostel tried blaming it on their guests saying they didn't lock their doors, but the guests were french and were just having a hard time understanding what they were asking. The 2 guys that came in late said that someone had tried stealing stuff from our room when they came in but I didn't notice anything gone in the morning. Overall, I would not stay here again, even if all I needed was a bed for the night. The walls are thin and our room was right by the road so I didn't even get any sleep. I'll be trying Paddy's Place next.

Liked: Cosy hostel, staff are really helpful and it's only a couple of minutes walk to the city centre.

Disliked: Not much floor space in my room.

Liked: It is clean, although the furniture is very old and well used, the linens are clean at least.

Disliked: the bathrooms were not in the best condition, I mean they were clean, but not always stocked with toilet paper.

Liked: It is clean, youthful and friendly hostel. Good location too!

Disliked: This isn't the hostel's fault of course, but some guest in our room said that there was a theft of 500 € from her friend is this hostel last night, so she wanted us to be careful and lock our room when we leave.. That wasn't nice to hear, but I would never leave that kind of amount in my unlocked luggage.

Liked: Extremely helpful staff and it was quiet late at night which was appreciated, even though it was halloween! (I was worried about the possible loud noise but it was fine)

Liked: Many services incuding kitchen, fridge, restroom, laundry room...Very kind staff and close to the city centre and other facilities.

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff, lots of information about Belfast, happy holiday atmosphere at the hostel, relaxed, good facilities, a place to meet people.

Disliked: sometimes a bit noisy at night

Liked: Location was very good - close to everything, but on side street so shielded from street noise. Two large kitchens, large lobby. Good price. Staff very helpful.

Disliked: No elevator (but staff helped me carry luggage up stairs). Must pay to use their lobby computers.

Disliked: private single room is extremely small, essentially a thin-walled windowless closet with a bunk-bed and chair inside.
