Overview

In a great location in the centre of this bustling city! 5 minutes walk from the Bus Station!

ALL ROOMS AVAILABLE FOR BOOKING ON THIS SITE HAVE BUNK BEDS AND SHARED BATHROOMS

This is a modern, purpose built hostel of the high standard you would expect to find in a busy capital city. The hostel is located in the bustling heart of Belfast’s university area and is ideally placed for day trips to surrounding attractions, shopping or enjoying the city’s excellent nightlife. Without doubt, it is the most cosmopolitan place in Belfast, with people of all age groups and more nationalities than the United Nations Building. The atmosphere is always buzzing and it’s the kind of place you can expect to make new friends and travelling companions with ease.

We have 2, 4 and 6 bedded rooms as well as 2 large dormitory rooms. Please note that the rooms available for booking on this site have bunks and shared bathrooms. We are wheelchair friendly and have 2 twin rooms which have been adapted for wheelchair users. Please contact the hostel directly to book these.

Check Out before 11 am

We welcome guests of all ages, including families with children, from all over the world. Respect and consideration for your fellow guests and hostel staff is expected at all times. The hostel 'quiet time' is 11pm to 7am.

***Groups of 6 or more please contact the Groups at HostelBookers before proceeding with your booking. Multiple bookings for the same people will be turned away on arrival****

To guarantee a pleasant stay for our guests and to provide a relaxed atmosphere we do not usually accept bookings of stag nights, hen nights, sports tours etc

People of 18 years and under are never accommodated unless accompanied by parent, guardian, teacher etc

HOT WATER 5.30am to 1.30pm - 6pm to 11.30pm

Our Superb new Causeway Cafe is now open, catering for all tastes. The Cafe is open from 8.00am to 11.00am 7 days a week. It’s also available to book for groups over 10 for evening meals.
Full breakfast, dinner and lunch menus available for group bookings.

CHECK OUT: 11.00 A photographic ID is required for everyone checking in at Belfast International Youth Hostel - this is held securely at reception until check out. Bed linen is included in the cost of your stay. Towels, soap etc are not provided. Breakfast, if not included as part of a group reservation, is available for purchase at the Causeway Cafe from 8am until 11am. Dinner and packed lunches can also be provided for groups if booked in advance.
