Liked: Without a doubt the best Hostel I've ever been in. This place was amazing, after 11 months travelling, it is really nice to have a place that feels like home again. The staff were really warm, when i checked in the guy made sure i knew about the area, explaining to me all the inn and out of the area. Great common room, there were soo many big warm comfy chairs and sofas and the kitchen was surprisingly well stocked, granted ikea but all new. Private bathrooms and toilets on each landing, i never had to wait to get a shower :-) I think the best thing tho was the staff, every night they would ask around and see if anyone wanted to go to the pub with them, which might i add are all not 3 min walk from the hostel. As for the comments that the american girl has made below, i would just like to make sure that everyone knows that i was there during that same week and i think she is the one that was on crack! The lady she refers to was there for 4 days, hardly living there... There are actually two doors, she just happened to be knocking on the back one, nobody answered it, go figure... I will admit the shower screens were see through, but WHY THE FUCK DOES THAT MATTER WHEN THE WOODEN BATHROOM DOOR ISNT YOU NUMPTY??? and perhaps she is unco because the you can see the town from the rooms and there is a tescos and starbucks right around the corner, location smocation. I don;t mean to blather but this girl was also really rude to the lady's kids aswell but who am i kidding she was probably right to, how dare they watch cartoons on a rainy morning when their day tour had been cancelled.All that said i guess the pillows were waferthin but honestly if it is at all possible i will head back to belfast as soon as possible because this place was really the thing that picked me up out of a year long bout of homesickness, thanks alot guys, you are all awesome!!

Liked: For the price of it it is really worth it. and if you are doing a tour then it makes it even more worth it.only problem was the toilets...wasnt really enough to accommodate everyone. but was good just get in early

Liked: With this place, you get what you pay for. We paid 8 euro a night for an 8-bed mixed dorm, which is hard to beat. Plus towels and internet were free. However....When we first arrived, we had to wait for half an our for someone to answer the door, even though we knocked repeatedly. Another guest had to let us in, where we proceeded to wait in the lobby another twenty minutes for an employee to show up (who then proceeded to blame US for not coming to find him.) However, the beds were fine, although the pillows were wafer-thin, and the place was as clean as could be expected. As others have mentioned, the shower stalls are see through, but on our floor you could lock the door. There was also a private shower right next to it, so we never had a problem with that. The location left something to be desired, but it wasn't a terrible walk to the city center. There was this cracked-out woman and her four kids (two of them babies) that apparently lived there, and they were ALWAYS in the common room watching TV, which was pretty annoying. Unfortunately the only place you can pick up the wi-fi is in the common room, so that wasn't great. Also, the staff seemed really out of it...and bordered on creepy at times. On the second night we were there, one of our roommates snuck in a woman who squeezed into bed with him (no hanky panky, thank god) and talked loudly ALL NIGHT LONG. Complaining was impossible, as the front desk was abandoned. Despite all that, we really had a great time and met some really cool people here. Just expect to get what you pay for.

Liked: I stayed there one night 4 July in 4beds dorm with my friend. It wasn't a really new hostel, but It was quite clean and friendly. Sheets were all clean and there wasn't any odors in the room. I personally like the way of breakfast provided. It was like you were in your own home to prepare and have your breakfast. The staff was kind and helpful. It was worth the money I paid.

Liked: This hostel is a real travellers hostel. All the staff are travellers themselves and very helpful. It's situated right in the student district of Belfast, near Queens Uni so there's a great nightlife there, even in the summer. the only bad part was that it was advertised as having breakfast included and it wasn't. Only tea was available, you had to bring your own food.

Liked: It is absolutely value for money with spacious areas for meeting people. Though the location is not right at the city centre, it does no harm to walk a bit.

Liked: The free breakfast was alright, even if you do have to get up early to eat it! The kitchen is pretty well organised, and the staff are nice and relaxed
