Liked: +: free tour of the giant's causeway if you book 2 nights - this is worth it! Friendly staff, breakfast for free, internet and wifi for free, books and films provided, close to the university and the Ulster Museum_: cleanness of the place, a bit far from the city centre

Liked: generally, it is a good place. however, my friend and i had an annoying night there. A group of youth were having a crazy party till next morning in the hallway which made me sleepless all night. i hope it will improve its atmosphere in the future.

Liked: Great facilites, friendly staff and superb value if you manage to get in the Giants Causeway tour they offer! Met some great people here and so have fond memories of our stay.

Liked: Very cheap and we got a special deal of a free tour to Giants Causeway which was great. Good breakfast included. The 12 bed dorm needs better heating though, it was extremely cold in the room. We stayed in another room when our flight got cancelled due to the weather and that was much much warmer.

Liked: Basic hostel, the matresses were in good condition so that was good. We went when the accomodation was combined with a free tour so it was really good value at that time. The main issues wre they could not take a credit card and the toilet paper in one of the toilets tended to run out and it was not obvious there were other toilets.If your after something basic this place is fine.

Liked: The staff have been great. I have already extended my stay! I have stayed ten nights so far and wish I could make it my home. The building has character and is an easy walk from city centre. Belfast is an amazing city to see with lots of history and warm welcoming citizenry; Paddy's should be your first stop! The people that filter through have been interesting, but the staff have made me feel like family and Belfast seems like home.

Liked: probably the best stay ive had in my travels, the staff were awsome and JJ did an excellent job seeing as he was mainly the only one running it in such a busy period. definately reccomend paddy's to all travellers.

Liked: The main plus point of this hostel was the friendliness of the staff. Beyond that, I'm afraid it all goes downhill. The rooms were incredibly basic (think bare room containing only bunk bed, fitted wardrobe and sink), the bedrooms were tight on space, the heating in our bedroom didn't work (and it was very cold - mid Nov!!), there was a lack of hot water in the mornings for showers, the towels on offer to hire were all the size of a large dishcloth, kitchen utensils were minimal and in very poor condition, the decor was in dire need of touching up, and, to top things off, our first night's sleep was repeatedly interrupted by an aggressive screaming man (possibly another guest?!) running around the hallways outside our room and making loud crashing noises. To be honest I felt sorry for the staff having to work there! Allegedly an award wining hostel - I was very disappointed.

Liked: location was good, katie was amazingling helpful, place was a bit beat up but pretty solid value, website says they take credit cards and other currencies, but only accept pounds.....

Liked: Only 15 min walk from the centre. Clean sheets and good central heating. Needed a few more working showers though as a couple were out of order, plenty of toilets though!
