Liked: Beautiful setting and views, Very good double room and shower for good price if you are not looking for luxury. Excellent kitchen facilities.

Disliked: Not so much the property but the fact there was a large group in on our second night. They were noisy until quite late and some accompanying children were allowed to be very noisy in the morning. The owner did, however, warn us in advance of a large group and apologised for any noise. Really the group should have booked out the whole hostel if they were not concerned with other people's comfort.

Liked: ballintoy is a beautiful little village

Disliked: staff were disorganised and not o hand. it was very nosiy, uncomfortable beds and poky little rooms.

Liked: Excellent location in this small village near the Rope Bridge and not far from the Giant's Causeway. Very clean and extremelly helpful staff. Great rooms with toilets/bath, more like a hotel than a hostel. Huge and very-well equipped kitchen; nice place to meet, as in the common room by the fire (not on that day). It took some time for the rooms to warm up on this extremely cold, rainy and windy day but a very comfortable stay in the end. Highly recommendable. Thanks to the nice owners.

Liked: a wonderful hostel, we are warmly welcome here, and its ideally situated to visit giant's causeway (7 miles and possible to go by bus) and carrick-a-rede (10 minutes walk). Highly recommended!

Liked: Sheeps island view is cheap and cheerfull. the lady in charge was very friendly. it is the perfect location to explore the north Irish coast line. we were there on family holiday but there were some canoeists staying there as well, so good for water sports enthusiasts too. i would certainly reccomend this place.

Liked: It is really hard to evaluate the hostel during the winter season as it's not busy at this time of the year.The room n°3 needs a curtain because of the entance light.The view is spectacular and the hostel is really close to Carrick-e-Rede and the Giant's Causeway.
