Liked: Staff booked our ferry crossing to Picton AND our connecting bus to Chrischurch AND our hostel in Christchurch while we were standing at reception. The only thing this place doesn't have is a bar

Liked: Great common areas. Very efficient staff. However the internet is really expensive and it would be a nice touch to offer free tea and coffee rather than have a coin operated machine. Also bunk beds were very wobbly. The vibrations from someone walking into the room were transmitted by the bed.

Liked: The best of the best...clean, really really friendly staff. Nice kitchens and bathroom and the beds made up. Definitely worth money!

Liked: kitchen was excellent and the staff were very good, the best we have met in our 5 weeks travelling so far. great range of facilites at reception eg telephone cards, incoming telephone calls, booking of activities further accomodiation and travel.
