Liked: it was like a giant daycare center for teenagers. very noisy and hard to get any sleep at night. not a good place for older travelers who are interested in getting a good nights sleep and waking early to start the day.

Liked: The hostel is quite new and the rooms and kitchen are clean and big enough. Unfortunately we were unable to sleep as between 10pm and 4am there was constant noise from people running around the corridors, screaming and banging on doors. No-one from the hostel did anything about the noise which we were very disappointed with and wouldn't recommend staying there to anyone.

Liked: My first Base experience,it was modern had all the facilities and I had a Sanctuary room all to myself BUT 3 flaws; 1) sheets seemed and smelled clean but were stained, 2) bar was too loud and even though I was given a warning and earplugs I was still awake at 6am, 3) they charged to store my luggage for approx 5 hours, first hostel in 10months to do that its ridiculous!

Liked: Loved this hostel. It was the best Base i have stayed in. Really clean and in the female sanctuary there is a private kitchen and you can also get free hair dryer and straighteners

Liked: Very impersonal place due to size. Kitchen was always dirty, and also lacked facilities. Rooms were clean, and it is in a very good location.

Liked: brilliant location, very clean rooms, good bar downstairs but you can hear the bass through the floor in you rooms

Liked: Just with 2 persons in a 8 dorm, was really convinient but with all the kiwi exp busses dropping off loads of people it can be a bit noisy and hard meet people because the are all traveling with the kiwi exp. But hang out in the kitchen during dinner and you will be fine!
