Liked: The staff and owners of this place are fantastic. We felt like we were at home rather than in a hostel. They even bought us free Subway sandwiches and offered us some of the owners Birthday cake! Top marks for friendliness and the rooms were also clean, tidy and there were excellent facilities.

Disliked: Nothing, I wish I could have stayed longer.

Liked: Wonderful character, creaky floorboards and extremely comfortable beds. It wasn't far from the centre of town but a car is advisable if you want to explore the area. The kitchen and living areas were spotless and great places to hang out and meet people (although we were staying when it was virtually empty).

Disliked: Lady behind the desk was mildly rude, but nothing too serious. Just had to put up with her moaning about why we'd booked through HostelBookers and not direct with them.

Liked: It was very charming! It was nice to be able to rent movies and watch them with everyone from the hostel, and there were plenty of things to do!

Liked: Everything. I booked to stay overnight and ended up staying for 3 days. Really lovely place, owners are so very friendly and welcoming. Give you lots of local inforamtion too. Great stay, thanks

Liked: it was very clean, there was a nice dog, the decor of the room was lovely, good range of games (pool tabel, board games etc) and car parking on side of street.
