Liked: The location was excellent with a view over the harbour and right in the centre of town with bars and restaurants adjacent.

Disliked: Parking was a bit difficult as the hostel did not have its own car park and street parking was limited during the day.

Disliked: Terrible kitchen for a large backpackers and terrible cooking tools

Liked: Great location. Really clean. Decent place to stay. Nice outside terrace overlooking harbour.

Disliked: too many 'dont do this' signs everywhere. Reception closes at 9pm which would have screwed us if we'd arrived at 10pm as planned (and advised to the hostel who didn't reply to email)

Liked: Its in a great place along Tauranga's waterfront, quite a nice building inside, lots of rooms and places.

Disliked: Don't expect anything to be included in the price, and if you arrive late try not to panic when you're waiting outside a set of locked doors and no one answers the phone.

Liked: The location is good, just at the harbour. Rooms are spacious, but I had to pay extra at check-out because I had changed my room. A bit late to let it know then... Internet is available, thats good.
