Disliked: Far away from city center Very hot in rooms- no air con/fans Unclear male/female signs on toilet (there was a guy in the female toilet) Surprise non-member fee of $3 per person per night upon check in

Liked: It was very clean, the hostel has a beautiful garden, a homelike atmosphere and a comfortable lounge. The kitchen was very well-appointed and a good place to cook. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Not a party hostel but a hostel were you feel at home.

Disliked: Lockers in the room would be great.

Liked: Excellent day light saving barbecue for only $7. There is a nice atmosphere and the hostel is very clean with friendly staff. I am sure the location would have been better before the road was built between the hostel and the beach but you couldn't hear the traffic too much.

Liked: Good clean hostel, fantastic kitchen and dining area, really relaxed vibe to the place. Can't fault it...only gripe was a family letting their kids run around the place during the evening!!
