Liked: Very friendly and approachable staff, good atmosphere, nothing is too much in helping with booking stuff to do etc.

Disliked: bunk-beds are VERY wobbly - every turn of the person below or above you is felt

Liked: In the center of town, very clean for a big hostel

Disliked: We slept in a 16 bed dorm so I should not really complain but it was very loud. Also all the kiwi experience buses stop there so it is not really quiet

Disliked: Nothing - all was good - however just stayed one night :)

Disliked: It's really annoying when dorm rooms only have one electrical outlet for four or more people. The lounge area was virtually non-existant, basically a small tv room set away from the main area, and then picnic tables in the bar/kitcen area.

Liked: Everything.I love the staff here, every single one is friendly and sooo helpful! Great kitchen compared to loads of other places in NZ. Rooms are big with great under-bed lockers, and air conditioners. It's a brilliant place to stay and do day trips from, like Waitomo and Tongariro. I'd definitely recommend it.

Liked: The girls in the reception knew your name and remembered everyone that stayed at Urban. It's a lot of party going on, Bear pong and stuff. And Good Cheap Chilli-meal :)

Disliked: They could have cleaned the dorms more often.

Liked: Friendly staff. They were able to put all six of us in the same room. The $5 chili is also delicious. Best is that the property is located in the center of town, making it easy to walk to all places we wanted to go.

Disliked: The bathroom only had one shower, and the soap dispensers were not filled up.
