Disliked: Pressure on facilities when full ie waiting showers / cooking. Rather dominated by permanent guest.

Liked: Excellent service. Very responsive and friendly. Authentic New Zealand experience. Beautiful lakeviews and nature walks close by.

Disliked: Too far away from Rotarua for walking exploration. Transport is available but costs.

Liked: You will need a car for this hostel. It is out of Rotorua near to the Blue Lake. It is an excellent place to relax away from the hustle and bustle.

Liked: This hostel had all the comforts of home and more, including a heated floor in the kitchen to keep your feet warm on those cooler nights. I really loved this hostel and liked the fact that it was a smaller hostel.
