You will need a car for this hostel. It is out of Rotorua near to the Blue Lake. It is an excellent place to relax away from the hustle and bustle.

This hostel had all the comforts of home and more, including a heated floor in the kitchen to keep your feet warm on those cooler nights. I really loved this hostel and liked the fact that it was a smaller hostel.

Great location on Lake Okareka, very peaceful and quiet (means a car is a must though) Wonderfull establishment; clean, spacious and comfortable, and a great owner!

Cheryl Lyons is an absolutely brilliant hostess. She is fun to be with, higlhly efficient and provides for all needs.

It was so close to the lake and it was so homey and cozy. But only stay there is you have a way to drive- otherwise its hard to get to and from town.
