Liked: The staff are very friendly and the place is very clean and cozy.

Disliked: The staff didn't have too much knowledge about activites and transportation around the area.

Liked: it is a little hostel but so it gives you a very family like atmosphere. the staff was really helpfull and friendly at all times. located directly in the city center and you recive 70 % of the entry of the spa in rotorua.

Liked: The size of the facilities was excellent for the number of people staying there. Never any lineups in bathrooms or the kitchen. Very chill atmosphere, good for just hanging out with people in common areas.

Disliked: A strict no BYO policy.

Liked: it was small and the people were very nice,but it certainly was not the cleanest hostel i have ever stayed in, but not too bad. the mattress as really thin and uncomfortable. i did not steep well.

Liked: Rooms were clean and the lady was nice and was prepared to get up extra- early for me if I wanted to check out before normal office hours

Liked: O.K hostel, location is good right in the middle of town. Didn't think that the receptionist was very friendly once we checked in. Rooms basic, the shared bathroom is O.K, it was quite clean.Some of the people staying there are quite nice but are very much their own little group and you might feel a bit distant if only there for a few days.Kitchen was clean, not many people cooking so not too crowded.

Liked: I don't like when hostels don't have lockers in rooms (which seems to be the unfortunate case almost everywhere in New Zealand). And although I have a feeling this is usually a quiet hostel (it's small, can't fit many people) the night I stayed was party time. The lounge had 6-7 people (including 1-2 staff) playing drinking games and being VERY LOUD into the night. Again, small hostel so the noise carried right into our room. I did use earplugs but that didn't help much. That all said, it was a good hostel and I might stay there again.

Liked: Great new place. it is still in the process of fixing itself up- so don't expect a YHA. The people are great! And the price is great!Go here if you are coming to Rotorua!

Liked: It felt very friendly and welcoming. The staff were very helpful in giving info on activities and things to do, they also booked things for us and found out about anything we needed. The location was right in the centre of town.

Liked: The bed was rock hard and the hostel is directly over a very loud bar. It was a terrible night's sleep. Staff are very friendly, even if only to point out how I had wasted money by not booking a trip through them.
