Liked: First of all, the guesthous is ideally located in the town centre, just across the street from local i-site and terminal bus stop of intercity buses. Moreover, the price of offered private room accommodation was the cheapest i could find in central area. The girl at the reception was very friendly and helpful, explaind us everything we inquired immediatly at check-in.

Disliked: Prorietor couldn`t provide us with electric plug adaptor. For me it seems very strange - I suppose guesthouse recieves guests from all over the world, not everybody come with mobile phones or cameras suitable for NZ sockets, so why not help their guests with essential accessories?

Disliked: It was not the cleanest place. Flies all over the place. Its a bit run down and it was not a good place to meet people.

Liked: Right next to the i-Site where a lot of buses stop so handy for that. Get a voucher for a free coffee in a local cafe and a free beer/vino/softie in a pub nearby. Rooms clean but just a topsheet so bring a sleeping bag innit.

Liked: Good location and cheap to stay here but lacks any real atmosphere. Security an issue as even though given key fob for entry in the evening the door was always open and saw people wander in. Little community /dining space so eating dinner either on lap or at bar style table top..too high to eat comfortably

Liked: Eveything is great, it is a great location, next to the bus stop and very are very good parking if you travel by car. The staff is very friendly and it is very clean. We had a double room and it was just perfect. And above all for the price!! It is a real bargain. Would defenitly go back to this hostel.
