Liked: It has a cozy, family feel to it. Not like the massiveness of Base/Discovery Lodge. If you're looking for a quiet place to hang out - this is it.

Liked: Fantastic hostel right in the town centre but still manages to feel almost like you are in your own home. Great atmosphere and very cosy with log fire, well equipped kitchen, great sitting/TV area and lovely dog! Clean and well maintained - I would happily recommend The Last Resort to anyone.

Liked: Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Was able to settle in and was made to feel like I'd been living there for ages. Great location for town yet still quiet enough to escape the maddness should you want to. Great lay out and design with nice little touches that make it that extra special hostel. One wee request: to have blankets in the lounge area for super snuggly movie nights! Can't wait to come back.

Liked: Chris the manager was so friendly and helpful and in general the hostel just felt like being at home especially with coco the dog. without a doubt the best hostel i have stayed at...ever

Liked: This hostel was awesome- it only has 18 beds which makes it very homey. The dog is also a nice touch. I wish I had stayed here the entire time I was in Queenstown. I would HIGHLY reccomend it over YHA and Discovery Lodge, the other 2 places I stayed.

Liked: After eight months of travelling, it was the cosiest and one of the friendliest hostels I have stayed. Would definitely recommend it to anyone travelling to Queenstown.
