About Haka Lodge Queenstown
Come and experience true backpacker comfort at Haka Lodge! We believe that all travelers deserve a little luxury and that's why our wooden bunk beds are custom designed with privacy curtains and our private rooms have hotel standard beds.
Whilst we are spread over 3 levels, we are a small backpackers for fewer than 50 people. This means that there is more space for you to relax and meet like-minded travelers. It also makes for a peaceful night's sleep!
Our hostel was fully renovated in 2012, and we like to keep it sparklingly clean. Our bathrooms and kitchens are cleaned twice daily. We also provide little extras like shower gel in the bathrooms and free tea, coffee and spices in the kitchens.
All guests receive free wireless internet for the duration of their stay. There are no time limits and your downloading bandwidth is more than enough for unlimited emailing, browsing and Skyping!
We look forward to meeting you soon : )
Our 4 and 6 bed Dorms have customized wooden bunks with super thick mattresses, privacy curtains, bed light and internal shelf with power points for your phone and laptop. We doubt you would of ever stayed in a more comfortable bunk!!!
Our private rooms are both double and twin rooms, have flat-screen TV's, DVD players and hotel standard beds. Some of our private double rooms actually have Super King sized beds! There is also some funky furniture in each of the rooms including colorful tub chairs as well as panel heaters to ensure your room is always kept to the ideal temperature.
Can you please confirm your approx arrival time, prior to your arrival. Office hours are open 9:00am - 8:00pm. Check in time is after 2:30-Late arrivals by prior arrangement.
Haka Lodge Queenstown is located just 200 meters from the centre of Queenstown. We are located at 6 Henry St, which is 2 streets over from the corner of Shotover and Camp Streets.
We are also a minutes’ walk from Queenstown’s “Alpine Supermarket”, its best bakery and bottle store! But the best thing about our location is that because we are a few hundred meters away from the bars, pubs and Main Street, we are in a quiet error and are never disturbed by the late night partiers!
