Excellent location, literally on the waterfront as the name suggests. Winter Festival was on during our stay so did get a bit loud sometimes but not a problem.

Awesome location - close to lake, restaurants, bars etc. friendly staff and it was quiet so i had my own room!

Great location right in the centre of everything but therefore a bit noisy on the Fri and Saturday pm.

the staff were great, the situation is great and the services that the hotel didn't provide were on offer everywhere in the town anyway so it didn't matter (eg internet)

Place was more like a hotel, really nice staff, felt very luxurious compared to other hostels. Best location hostel in queenstown with great views of the lake. definatly recomend it, especially if u want to relax, if u want to party ur right in otwn anyway.

It's in about the best location you could ask for as far as being right on the lake and downtown. It's just that it gets a little noisy at night with the people walking around the lake and downtown area. It's more of a hotel than a hostel atmosphere. The location makes up for everything else. The views are fantastic. But you could have a great view from just about anywhere in Queenstown.
