 everything, starting with the warm welcome from the manager and staff. It was the best place of all I've stayed in, bar none.

Fridge, TV and ensuite for the same price as a basic room with just a bed in other places. Great value.

Nice double rooms with tv, toaster, kettle & fridge. The staff where really nice & helpful!!! The only downside was that there wasn't enough cooking utensils & the room above rm12 has really creaky floorboards - so that kept us awake & even woke us up.

The staff was very warm and friendly. The private room was great! It had tons of room, was very clean, and everything was well cared for. This was the best hostel we stayed in in New Zealand!!!

everyone was friendly and welcoming. It was a basic, comfortable clean place to stay and I loved the Gold Fish.

The staff was incredible and the location was great just a short walk into downtown! Our view was amazing because it's located on the hill over looking the city and water.

The staff made you feel extremely welcome, we stayed over xmas and there was a free xmas dinner and beers handed out from the manager

The Brazilian guy that run it was very friendly and looked and talked like Jack Black in Nacho Libre!! Very mixed friendly nationalities.
