Reavers Lodge contains 20 premium rooms, all with premium views of Queenstown, the Remarkables and Queenstown hill and 8 standard rooms located around our courtyard with internal views. If you want to try a backpackers with no noisy bunk rooms and a great atmosphere, we have something just for you!

Reavers Lodge, nestled on the edge of Ben Lomond Scenic Reserve is the newest and friendliest backpackers lodge in Queenstown.

Located a convenient 10-minute stroll from the centre of Queenstown, we boast some of the best views and warmest rooms available for our accommodation type.

Reavers Lodge also houses many of Queenstown’s local workers who are full of great ideas for things to do & see. For this reason we prefer to call ourselves a giant home-stay instead of a hostel as the common areas are shared by all, and our residents and staff are very accommodating.

All activities within the Wakatipu area can be booked at our reception for your convenience by our experienced and helpful staff. We’ve tried it all and love to talk about our adventures, so tell us what you want from your holiday and we’ll help you plan the best time in Queenstown ever!

All premium room types contain their own en-suite, radiated heating, toaster, kettle with tea and coffee amenities, full linen, towels with shower amenities, refrigerator, iron and ironing board, crockery and cutlery, TV with network stations, desk, wardrobe, lamp, fantastic views and a pet goldfish available from reception should you feel the need for some guppy love!

Our standard studios are basic, comfy and very friendly. While you won't get the same view as the premium rooms and you'll need to watch the TV and make your cuppa in the common area, you'll be in the middle of a vibrant atmosphere, surrounded by local Queenstownians who love a good chat!

Please be aware our Loft Triples contain a double bed on the mezzanine floor & a single bed downstairs. The height of the ceilings in all loft rooms are 1.7 meters at it's highest point & 1.1 meters at it's lowest... All Loft rooms have the BEST views!!!

Whatever the reason and whichever the season, Reavers Lodge is a great place to stay and an excellent choice for a great night’s sleep!
