YHA Anakiwa Lodge is located approximately midway between Picton and Havelock. It takes around 25 minutes relaxed driving from Picton to Anakiwa and about 20 minutes to travel from Havelock. Driving through to Blenheim takes around 45 minutes and we are approximately 1 hr from Nelson.

For solo travelers, a regular mail shuttle is available out to the lodge from Picton at a round 2 pm @ $15pp, every day except Sunday.

For 2 or more people, please feel free to email us and request a personal pickup and transfer to/from Picton or Havelock to suit your specific timetable.

This service is available at $ 15 pp each way, min $30 for each trip. We are happy to meet your bus or ferry arrival upon request.
